About the Project
Our team is currently conducting a lightweight proof-of-concept focused on streamlining supplier searches within SAP Ariba Guided Buying. The core flow involves:
- A user initiates a search within Ariba using a search string.
- Ariba transmits an OCI request to an external B2B platform.
- The external platform responds with Search Results, including descriptions, pricing, vendors, and SKUs.
- When a user selects an item, a PunchOut session is triggered to the supplier’s catalog.
This process aims to enhance user experience by integrating external catalog data seamlessly into Ariba’s search workflow.
Key Requirements
- Experience configuring and implementing External Search via OCI Catalogs in SAP Ariba.
- Familiarity with PunchOut setup and integration.
- Ability to work with sandbox or test environments (note: we do not have a production Ariba environment for this project).
- Skilled in setup, mapping, testing, and thorough documentation of processes.
Project Details
- This role involves primarily setup, configuration, testing, and documentation — minimal development work.
- We will provide access to a sandbox or test client environment for configuration and validation.
- Compensation is available for initial scoping sessions or consultation.
